War crimes trial begins

Sarajevo, December 19 (Source: B92) - The trial of Niset Ramić, accused of war crimes against Serbia civilians, begins today in Sarajevo.

The trial before the Bosnia-Herzegovina war crimes court for Ramić, who pleaded not guilty on October 27, begins officials today.

Ramić is accused of committing crimes against a group of Serbia civilians in June 1992 as a leader of a small territorial defense unit.

According to the indictment, Ramić stopped the group of civilians who were heading to their homes and fired at them. Four individuals were killed and two were seriously injured.
