Radicals say Hague is hypocritical

Belgrade, The Hague, November 13 (Source: B92) - Radicals accuse Tribunal’s spokesman Refik Hodžić of hypocrisy after he said the court put indictees’ health first.

Serb Radical Party (SRS) secretary-general Aleksandar Vučić says eight people have already “either died or have been murdered” at the Hague. He added that Šešelj continues to refuse food and medication and is beginning to feel weakness, but will persevere until his demands have been met.

Šešelj started his hunger strike on Friday, demanding easier access for his wife, formal registration of his legal advisers and the withdrawal of the court-appointed defense lawyer. He also demands that all the future court document and correspondence be submitted to him in Serbian, “not Serbo-Croatian”, and on hard copies.
