Ćuruvija files given to judge

Belgrade, December 13 (Source: B92) - The case of the murder of journalists Slavko Ćuruvija has been transferred to Judge Dragan Lazarević.

Lazarević, who according to daily Danas will be handling the case, is the investigative judge of the Belgrade District Court’s organized crime sector.

Lazarević said that he received the files on Friday and that they are top secret, because every investigation in the organized crime sector is marked as such.

“I started reading the Ćuruvija case, but I still have not even counted the witnesses. I am a member of the Chamber for the Zemun Clan case, so that, when I can, I will be working on the Ćuruvija case because I can only read it in the court building.” Lazarević said.
